Inter kick off pre-season campaign with 16-0 victory in Germany | OneFootball

Inter’s pre-season training camp is underway in Germany and Cristian Chivu’s side recorded a thumping 16-0 victory over lower-league SV Aasen in a training ground friendly, the club have confirmed.

The Nerazzurri are based in Donaueschingen in Germany for their pre-season training camp. The squad carried out double sessions on Monday and Tuesday and had their first training ground friendly against lower-league outfit SV Aasen on Wednesday.

This resulted in a thumping 16-0 victory for the reigning Serie A champions, including a five-goal haul from Italy international Pio Esposito.

The Nerazzurri lined up with two different XIs in each half, both featuring a mixture of established Serie A stars and a handful of emerging young talents. Six goals were scored in the first half, 10 found the back of the net in the second.

Davide Frattesi opened the scoring with a brace within the first 11 minutes, followed by a  hat-trick from 20-year-old Luka Topalovic, who was based with the club’s U23 side in 2025-26. 19-year-old Mattia Mosconi added Inter’s sixth before the interval.

Esposito netted five goals on his own in the second half, while midfielder Andy Diouf and 18-year-old winger Jamal Iddrissou both added braces.
