Inter Miami selected five players in the MLS SuperDraft 2026.

According to Inter Miami, the club used the 30th pick on Bryant defender Abdel Talabi and the 32nd on Duke midfielder Kenan Hot. Further picks were forward Mamadi Jiana at 54th, Indiana defender Alex Barger at 60th, and Vermont forward Maximilian Kissel at 90th.

Talabi made 19 appearances with 18 starts as a senior to earn All-America East Second Team. In his graduate year he started every match, posted three goals and two assists, and was named First Team All-ECAC, Second Team All-Northeast Region and First Team All-America East.

Hot, 21, led the team in goal contributions in 2025 with eight goals and four assists, helping the Blue Devils reach the NCAA third round. His run included a game-tying goal in the second-round win over No. three seed Princeton. Before college, he played for Hartford Athletic and New York Red Bulls II.

Jiana started 20 of 21 matches in 2025 and scored seven, third-most in America East. He was named Second Team All-Northeast Region and America East Offensive Player of the Week.

Barger started 54 of 61 matches across three seasons for Indiana, adding five goals and five assists. He helped win Big Ten regular season titles in 2023 and 2024, and the 2023 Big Ten Tournament.

Kissel recorded five goals and four assists in 15 appearances in 2025. In 2024 he scored 11 and collected NCAA Tournament Offensive Most Outstanding Player, NCAA All-Tournament Team and America East All-Conference Second Team. He struck the winner in the NCAA Championship against Marshall, securing Vermont’s first national title.
