The club said in a statement that it has signed defender Facundo Mura on a free transfer to a contract through June 2029, pending receipt of his P-1 visa and International Transfer Certificate. The 26-year-old, who primarily plays at right back, strengthens Inter Miami’s defensive options ahead of the 2026 season.

Born in General Roca, Argentina, Mura came through Estudiantes de La Plata and made his senior debut in 2019. He featured 21 times across all competitions for Estudiantes, scoring once and providing one assist.

He spent 2020-21 on loan at Colón, making 31 appearances and contributing four assists, and helped the club win the 2021 Copa de la Liga Profesional.

After a 2022 move to Racing Club, he made 148 appearances, scoring 12 and assisting 15. He won the 2025 Recopa Sudamericana, the 2024 Copa Sudamericana and the 2022 Trofeo de Campeones de la Liga Profesional, playing in nine of 13 matches in the 2024 campaign.

In Argentina he has totalled 200 appearances, 13 goals and 20 assists. He has also represented Argentina at under-20 and under-23 level, featuring at the 2019 FIFA U-20 World Cup and in the 2020 CONMEBOL South American U-20 Championship-winning squad that secured Tokyo 2020 qualification.
