Inter Milan & AC Milan Secure €354M Financing For New San Siro: Construction To Begin In 2027

Inter Milan and AC Milan have taken a major step forward in their joint stadium project, securing €354 million in financing through San Siro Spa, the company created to manage the financial side of the operation.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, via L’Interista, the funds were provided by a group of leading international banks.
These will serve as the foundation for the next phase of development.
Indeed, following the official purchase of the San Siro site earlier this month.
The two clubs are expected to present the final implementation plan in February.
This will outline detailed construction phases and design specifications.

“Work on the new stadium is expected to begin in October 2027 and last around 36 months,” reports La Gazzetta dello Sport.
“Meaning the new San Siro would be completed by October 2030 and inaugurated between December 2030 and January 2031.”
The long-term financing reflects the clubs’ shared commitment to building a modern, multi-purpose venue capable of matching Europe’s elite.
Both ownership groups, Oaktree (Inter) and RedBird (Milan), are said to be heavily involved in overseeing the project.
