According to L'Équipe, Inter Milan have bought back Aleksandar Stankovic from Club Bruges on Friday, with the Serbia midfielder signing a contract to 2031.
Stankovic spent only one season in Belgium after Inter sold him to Club Bruges in summer 2025. An academy product, he has yet to make a senior appearance for Inter.
He was a mainstay for Club Bruges this season and helped deliver the Jupiler Pro League title.
He impressed in the Champions League, notably in a 3-0 win over Marseille in late January, scoring once and supplying two assists. That display contributed to Marseille’s exit in the league phase.
Stankovic, 20, was born in Milan but represents Serbia. He has eight caps and one goal. He is the son of Dejan Stankovic, who played for Inter from 2004 to 2013.
