Inter Milan ‘made enquiry’ for Corinthians midfielder André Luiz | OneFootball

According to Meu Timao, Inter Milan have made an enquiry for Corinthians midfielder André Luiz.

Talks did not progress beyond an initial check, with no formal offer tabled. The European winter window has been closed since three February and is due to reopen in June after the season ends.

André enjoyed a rapid rise after his promotion to the first team in August 2025. Handed opportunities by Dorival Júnior, he has become a starter this season.

After impressing last season, he spent one month out with a right ankle sprain. On Thursday the number 49 was again absent, this time with an issue to his left ankle area.

Inter lead the Italian league on 58 points, eight clear of rivals Milan. They are also in the UEFA Champions League play-off and the Coppa Italia semi-final.

For Corinthians, André has 19 appearances, seven of them starts, yielding eight wins, six draws and five defeats. He has scored three goals and was part of the squads that won the Copa do Brasil and the Supercopa.
