Inter Milan are keeping a close eye on Dayot Upamecano’s situation at Bayern Munich, as uncertainty grows around the defender’s future with the Bundesliga champions.
According to Sky Sport DE, via FCInter1908, negotiations between Upamecano’s entourage and Bayern remain at a standstill.
There is no agreement yet on salary and agent commissions despite a new deal already being drafted.
The French international’s current contract runs until 2026 but without progress in the coming months, a free transfer next summer cannot be ruled out.
“The figures requested for renewal are on the table – now it’s up to the club to decide whether to improve the offer,” the German outlet reported.

Bayern sporting director Max Eberl is reportedly working hard to secure an extension.
However, the standoff has alerted several top clubs across Europe.
Among them, Sky Sport lists Liverpool and Inter, both monitoring developments closely.
The Nerazzurri are not expected to move immediately.
However, the club’s recruitment team have been exploring potential long-term defensive targets ahead of 2026.
Particularly, the reports add, with players entering the final stages of their contracts.
Upamecano, 26, remains a key part of Bayern’s backline.
However, his unresolved future could open opportunities for Europe’s elite and Inter are among those watching carefully.
