Inter Milan New Boy Declares: ‘Happy To Reunited With Chivu, I Want To Learn From Lautaro & Thuram’ | OneFootball

Ange-Yoan Bonny says he’s “happy to be reunited” with Cristian Chivu at Inter Milan, and “wants to learn” from Lautaro Martinez and Marcus Thuram.

The French striker spoke to InterTV, via FCInterNews, upon his move from Parma.

Now it’s official. Ange-Yoan Bonny is an Inter Milan player.

The 21-year-old has signed a five-year contract with the Nerazzurri until the end of June 2030.

Inter Milan have been chasing Bonny for much of the summer. They had already identified him as a target well before the transfer window began.

However, it was the arrival of Cristian Chivu as coach that really pushed Inter to prioritize the Frenchman’s signing.

Bonny and Chivu had worked together well at Parma during the second half of last season.

New Inter striker Ange-Yoan Bonny said that “Coach Chivu helped me a lot in the last three months at Parma.”

The Frenchman called Chivu “a great guy.”

“He helped me. And he had faith in me.”

“I’m very happy to be reunited with him,” Bonny said of his coach. “And that we’ll be able to continue our journey together.”

Meanwhile, as far as his style Bonny said that “I’m a player who can play a bit everywhere on the pitch.”

“You could say I’m a modern striker,” added the 21-year-old.

“I like having the ball. And linking up with my teammates.”

“I like to score,” Bonny said. “But also helping my teammates score.”

Meanwhile, Bonny also spoke about having Lautaro Martinez and Marcus Thuram as teammates. “I’ll watch them every day in training,” he said. “Like through the eyes of a child,”

“I’ll try to learn everything they do,” added the Frenchman. “Because they’re players of a very high level.”

“For me it’s a great opportunity to play alongside them. It will be a pleasure.”
