Inter Milan Popularity Laid Bare As Club Approach 1 Million San Siro Spectators For The Season | OneFootball

Inter Milan continue to dominate the stands at San Siro, with the Nerazzurri closing in on one million spectators for the season as their support once again sets the benchmark in Italian football.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, if Inter maintain an average attendance of around 70,000 per match, they will surpass the one-million mark in total spectators at the Meazza.

So far this season, cumulative attendance has already passed 860,000, highlighting the club’s extraordinary pulling power.

The derby remains the standout fixture.

Key Games Fuel Inter Milan Attendance At San Siro

The Milan derby once again proved to be the most attended match of the campaign, drawing 75,562 Inter supporters.

Close behind was the so-called “other” Lombardy derby against Como, which saw San Siro filled by 75,022 fans.

Inter’s 3-1 win over Bologna also ranked highly, attracting 74,710 spectators and completing the podium of most-attended fixtures so far.

Strong numbers have been recorded in Europe as well.

Inter-Liverpool has been the most watched Champions League match at San Siro this season with 73,892 spectators, while games against Kairat Almaty and Slavia Prague drew 69,983 and 62,317 fans respectively.
