Inter Milan are sounding out a surprise move for PSG goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma,

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, via FCInterNews. They note that the Italian international is out of contract with Paris Saint-Germain at the end of June 2026.

At the moment, Inter have Yann Sommer and Josep Martinez in goal.

Sommer remains the clear first-choice option. However, the Swiss former Bayern Munich and Borussia Monchengladbach keeper is now 36 years of age.

Therefore, Inter have also been thinking about the succession plan for Sommer.

Martinez arrived from Genoa last summer. The Nerazzurri are ready to put their faith in the Spaniard to eventually become the starter in goal.

However, there is no guarantee that Martinez will be up to that task.

However, Sky anticipate, Donnarumma is genuinely a target for Inter. They are considering whether a transfer would be feasible.

Meanwhile, Donnarumma’s current contract with PSG runs until the end of June 2026. He is on the same five-year deal he signed to join on a free transfer from AC Milan in 2021.

Therefore, there could be the right conditions for Inter to swoop in and sign the Italian international.
