Marcus Thuram has used the international break to complete his recovery and is set to reclaim a starting role for Cristian Chivu and Inter Milan in next Sunday’s derby clash against AC Milan.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInter1908, the forward was deliberately rested by France coach Didier Deschamps.
Therefore, allowing him to continue a tailored fitness programme at Appiano Gentile.

Thuram is expected to return to full training on Tuesday, reuniting with strike partner Lautaro Martinez to reform the devastating “ThuLa” partnership.
