Bastoni is a player who has become absolutely pivotal for both Inter and Italy.

For the Nerazzurri, the 25-year-old is one of the first names on the team sheet, where he’s first-choice on the left of the back three in Simone Inzaghi’s 3-5-2 system.

Meanwhile, for the national team, Bastoni has become a defensive leader. He has really stepped up following the retirement of Giorgio Chiellini and Leonardo Bonucci.
