Udinese’s Oumar Solet (26) is reportedly catching the eye of Atlético Madrid, according to information from Foot Mercato.

In their search for defensive reinforcements, Los Colchoneros are said to have made the Frenchman one of their top targets for the summer transfer window. So much so that an offer is expected to be submitted shortly to the Italian club’s board, who are thought to be expecting a bid of at least €25 million before agreeing to let their player go.

A situation that is unlikely to please Inter Milan, who have also made Solet a priority in recent months and could soon see the 26-year-old defender snatched from under their noses. That’s why the Nerazzurri will have to act quickly if they wish to avoid such a scenario for a highly sought-after player, who is coming off the back of a fine season in Serie A, where he made no fewer than 34 starts in 36 appearances (three goals, one assist).
