Inter Milan are reportedly ready to shift their focus from Atalanta forward Ademola Lookman to Roma midfielder Manu Kone.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, via FCInter1908. They report that the Nerazzuri are seeking approval from owners Oaktree Capital.

Manu Kone has emerged as a surprise transfer opportunity for Inter Milan.

The Nerazzurri reportedly see the France international as an ideal profile for the holding midfield position.

Inter have no shortage of midfielders who can play in a more advanced role.

However, midfielders like Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Hakan Calhanoglu are not as well-suited to playing in a double pivot.

Sky Sport Italia confirm that Inter are ready to shift their focus to trying to sign Kone.

The Nerazzurri sense an opportunity to sign the 24-year-old. This as Roma have decided that they are willing to listen to offers.

Inter are ready to re-allocate the funds that they’ve been preparing to sign Atalanta forward Ademola Lookman.

The Nerazzurri have had a €45 million offer rejected for the Nigerian, including add-ons.

Now, Sky Sport Italia report, Inter will have to convince owners Oaktree Capital that a move for Kone is the right next step.
