Inter Milan manager Cristian Chivu has reportedly urged his players to maintain ‘full focus’ ahead of Saturday’s derby clash against Juventus.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport via FCInter1908, the 45-year-old is desperate to break his ‘big game’ curse this weekend.
It has been more than two years since Inter last won a match against Juventus.
Indeed, they’ve suffered two defeats in the last three editions of the Derby d’Italia, except for a 4-4 draw in this corresponding fixture last season.
Therefore, the home side should feel highly motivated to claim bragging rights on Saturday.

Cristian Chivu faltered in his touchline debut in this iconic fixture, with Juventus beating Inter 4-3 in September.
Furthermore, Chivu has failed to beat Napoli in both league meetings this season.
Last but not least, AC Milan squeezed past the Nerazzurri in November’s Derby della Madonnina showdown.
As a result, Chivu’s inability to take three points in high-profile matches has already become notorious.
Keen to buck that trend, he has demanded maximum focus and intensity from this squad ahead of Saturday’s blockbuster clash at San Siro.
