Signed from Lens for a reported fee of €25 million, Diouf’s career at San Siro has started with a whimper rather than a bang.

Despite showing some promising signs lately, the 22-year-old is still waiting for his maiden league start in Inter colors.

However, his wait could end tonight.

With Henrique unable to find his rhythm, Cristian Chivu is reportedly ready to hand Diouf his first league start.

Indeed, the French midfielder has accumulated just 71 minutes in Serie A this season.

Furthermore, he has yet to feature for Inter in 2026.

After overcoming a minor muscle injury that kept him out for Inter’s games against Bologna and Parma, Diouf is ready to return to action.
