Gianluca Di Marzio reports that Inter have rejected a last-minute deadline day approach from Lazio for Italy international Davide Frattesi.

With only hours remaining in the January window, the Biancocelesti tried to tempt the Roman-born midfielder back to the capital. Frattesi spent time in Lazio’s youth ranks before moving to Roma’s academy in 2014.

On Monday, Inter are said to have turned down an offer worth €30m. The proposal was structured as a loan with a conditional obligation to buy.

Inter are maintaining that Frattesi is not available in January.

The former Sassuolo player attracted interest earlier in the month. A possible move to Nottingham Forest has since fallen through, with Inter unable to secure a suitable replacement.
