Inter have officially sold Franco Ezequiel Carboni to Parma, but warned Thomas Berenbruch he will only be released on loan or with a buy-back clause.
The Nerazzurri are whittling down their squad to raise funds and completed the sale of Carboni to Parma today.
Their youth player had impressed during the six-month loan at the Stadio Tardini and the decision was made to buy him outright with a contract to June 2030.
The former Club Atletico Lanus and Catania defender came to Inter in January 2020 and had several other loan experiences in Italy, including at Cagliari and Empoli.

Inter players Petar Sucic and Thomas Berenbruch during an internal pre-season friendly.
Now current youth player Berenbruch is likely to follow suit, as his agent was at the club headquarters today for a meeting.
However, FCInterNews insist he was told that his parent club fully intend to keep hold of him for the foreseeable future, so any transfer will only be on loan, or with some sort of buy-back option.
This is a similar situation to the one that saw Aleksandar Stankovic join Club Brugge last summer, only to be brought back to San Siro.
Berenbruch just turned 21 in May and has been in the Nerazzurri youth academy since 2020, upgraded to the Under-23 team in Serie C last season.
