Anthony Elanga

Elanga has been named in Sweden's 26-man squad for this summer's World Cup finals, with Graham Potter's side facing two friendlies in preparation for the star-studded competition.

Sweden will face Norway on Monday 1 June at the Ullevaal Stadium in Oslo before hosting Greece at the Friends Arena three days later.

Both games will take place at 6pm [BST].

Sweden progressed through the play-offs, beating the likes of Ukraine and Poland, to book their place in Group F.

Blågult will face Tunisia in their opening group fixture on Sunday 14 June at Estadio BBVA in Guadalupe, Mexico [kick-off 3am BST] before taking on the Netherlands six days later at the NRG Stadium in Houston [kick-off 6pm BST].

Sweden, World Cup finalists in 1958, will face Japan in their final group game on Friday 26 June at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington [kick-off 12am BST].

Rory Finneran

Finneran received a first senior international call-up for Republic of Ireland ahead of their international friendly against Grenada this month.

The 18-year-old midfielder, who has featured for Newcastle's under-21s side this season, has travelled to Murcia, Spain to link up with Heimir Hallgrímsson's squad and will be in contention for his senior bow when the Boys in Green face Grenada at the Estadio Nueva Condomina on Saturday 16th May [kick-off 5pm BST].

Finneran, who captained his country at last year's FIFA U17 World Cup finals in Qatar, started a training match against Real Murcia 'B' on Tuesday afternoon, playing the opening 45 minutes of a 2-0 win.
