Simone Inzaghi looks ahead to the Champions League Final and reveals the intriguing tactical experiment using Nicola Zalewski in a new role against Torino. ‘It might be a 3-4-3.’
It kicks off at the Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino at 17.00 UK time (16.00 GMT, 18.00 CET).

The Nerazzurri booked their place in the Champions League Final, where they will face Paris Saint-Germain on May 31.
It was achieved thanks to Tuesday’s extraordinary 4-3 extra time victory over Barcelona at San Siro, so there are radical squad changes this evening, as Lautaro Martinez, Davide Frattesi, Benjamin Pavard and Henrikh Mkhitaryan didn’t even make the trip.

“Clearly, we are all very satisfied with what we did, giving our fans such joy and excitement, but we know there is the final and most important step to be taken,” Inzaghi told Sky Sport Italia.
There is the risk of ending the season empty-handed, because Napoli are already three points clear at the top of the Serie A table, but the focus has to be on preparing for that Champions League showdown.
“We know that it is no longer in our hands, but we’ll do everything we can. We had to leave a few players behind who had fitness issues, while others couldn’t play the whole game, but I am sure we’ll do well,” insisted the coach.

There are some questions over where exactly Zalewski is playing, so Inzaghi hinted it is going to be a 3-4-3 formation this evening rather than the usual 3-5-2.
“He will push up closer to Taremi and Correa, so it might be a 3-4-3. He has a lot of quality and I expect a great game from him. At times, he will drop down to be a mezz’ala, but we have our tactical principles,” explained the coach.
“We didn’t have any other players who could start that sort of role.”
