Striker Mehdi Taremi has pulled out of the Inter Milan squad for today’s Serie A match against Udinese due to injury.

This is confirmed by the Nerazzurri, via FCInterNews. The 32-year-old Iranian international has suffered a muscle problem in the buildup to the match.

Inter Milan take on Udinese in Serie A this evening. It is the Nerazzurri’s first match back from the international break.

Inter are already missing one huge name in attack, in the form of Lautaro Martinez. The Nerazzurri captain suffered a thigh problem during the break.

And now, another striker has had to pull out of the squad due to a physical problem.

Striker Mehdi Taremi had been expected to be in Inter’s squad for this evening’s match.

However, the Iranian international has suffered a muscle injury.

Physical problems have been a recurring issue for Taremi this season. The former Porto striker admitted that he has been dealing with them for months, and they have curtailed his form.

The issue has been a groin injury called pulbagia.

However, Taremi had a positive international break with the Iran national team.

But unfortunately for Mehdi Taremi and Inter, the 32-year-old has suffered an injury. That leaves just three senior forwards fit and available for Inter coach Simone Inzaghi.

Marcus Thuram and Marko Arnautovic start against Udinese this evening. Meanwhile, Joaquin Correa is on the bench.
