As per Gaughan’s report Manchester City has a buyback clause in Liam Delap’s contract with Ipswich Town. Jonathan David has six months remaining on his current deal with Lille. Eintracht Frankfurt attacker Omar Marmoush has impressed this season for the Bundesliga side. He could add another dimension to City’s play.

All three of the players listed in Gaughan’s report would add something different to Manchester City’s attacking play. Each player has their strengths which would complement what Manchester City already have. That’s a credit to Delap and it’s clear to see why City may be tempted to bring him back to the Etihad.

Jonathan David has taken his game to another level this season. The Canadian international has starred for Lille throughout this season. He has scored 17 goals in 26 appearances for Lille this season. David also only has six months remaining on his current contract. He may be a player that Manchester City could sign this month based on his contract situation and his obvious quality.

Omar Marmoush has starred so far this season for Eintracht Frankfurt. He has scored 18 goals and added 12 assists in 24 appearances for Eintracht Frankfurt this season. The Egyptian international is also a versatile player who can play up front or on a wing. With his pace, delivery and finishing ability, he’d add something different to City’s play, especially in the final third.
