Graham Potter is trying to brush aside the latest loss under his command, this time a 3-0 loss to Spurs.

The West Ham boss is under considerable pressure to deal with what is a club in crisis, with attention now not just on the ownership, but Potter himself too.

Speaking after the embarrassing collapse, as reported by the clubs Official Website, Potter tried to draw on the positives.

“For the first half, I thought it was a decent performance,” said the boss. “There were lots of positives in the first half and that’s the painful thing because the score line in the end is completely unpleasant for us.

“But at the same time there were glimpses of positivity, I thought, especially in the first half. Like I said, the second half, the game goes away from us so quickly and that’s the level and we have to learn from that. Like I said, the first half is what we have to focus on and remain positive.”

Potter did everything to not let this be a big talking point within the club and squad, with Potter eager to move on from the loss fast.

“It is what it is, we have to deal with it and then we have to move forward, but the boys are an honest group, they are, and we’ll be ready,” added Potter.
