The Swedish frontman opened the scoring during a 3-3 home draw against Liverpool in stunning fashion, collecting Bruno Guimarães' pass before unleashing a ferocious long-range effort into the roof of the net, which won the Premier League's Goal of the Month award for December.

Isak is named in a ten-man shortlist for the coveted prize, which includes Chelsea duo Cole Palmer and Nicolas Jackson, former Aston Villa striker Jhon Dúran, Fulham's Harry Wilson, David Brooks of AFC Bournemouth, Brighton & Hove Albion pair Kaoru Mitoma and Carlos Baleba, Jens Cajuste of Ipswich Town and Manchester City's Omar Marmoush.
