Italian clubs enquire about Naves as Palmeiras await offers | OneFootball

Italian clubs have made enquiries about Palmeiras defender Naves ahead of the next transfer window, according to Nosso Palestra.

Palmeiras are awaiting formal proposals in the coming months.

A Palmeiras academy graduate, the centre-back struggled for a sustained run under Abel Ferreira and joined Portugal’s Alverca on loan midway through 2025.

Naves and his representatives view a move to Italy positively, citing a stylistic fit and the chance to compete in a more competitive league.

Palmeiras do not plan to reintegrate him after his loan, which runs until July 2026, while the player is also not looking to return and wants to remain in European football.

Several leading Portuguese sides have also registered interest following his strong displays domestically, though Alverca are not in a position to buy him outright.

This season he has made 27 appearances for Alverca, scoring two goals, captaining the side in many matches and standing out in the competition.
