Federico Dimarco has won praise for the quality of his deliveries into the box for Inter Milan against Lazio yesterday.
Today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews, argue that the 27-year-old was one of the best players on the pitch for the Nerazzurri.
Federico Dimarco started for Inter Milan against Lazio.
The Italian international took up his usual spot on the left of Inter’s 3-5-2 formation.
Dimaco had a rest in Serie A outings against the likes of Hellas Verona and Torino. However, Nerazzurri coach Simone Inzaghi entrusted the 27-year-old to start yesterday.

In the view of the Corriere, Dimarco showed exactly why he is so important for Inter.
The 27-year-old’s passing was sharp. And when the Nerazzurri approached the final third, he was often the player they to unlock the Lazio defense.
Dimarco had a blistering shot after a corner right at the end of the first half. This was blocked, but fell to Yann Bisseck who scored.
In the second half, Carlos Augusto replaced Federico Dimarco as a substitute.
However, as the Corriere notes, the Brazilian couldn’t offer nearly the same sort of attacking quality that Dimarco had done.
