After playing a largely irrelevant part in Villa’s start to the season, since Christmas, Sancho has been a much bigger factor in their success.
The Villans grabbed a late 1-0 win over Brighton and Hove Albion to extend the gap between themselves and Manchester United in the table to five points.
He played 60 minutes in the match and completed three key passes whilst he was on the pitch.
The winger also had one shot on goal, but it was blocked by the Brighton defence.
He did win 100% of his aerial duels but could not come out on top in any of his three ground duels during the match.
Sancho will next be in action against Newcastle United in the FA Cup this Saturday evening.
The 19-year-old played the first half of Swindon Town’s 2-0 win over Newport County.
He did not have any shots, nor did he attempt any dribbles during his time on the pitch.
Scanlon was also unable to complete any key passes and connected with just one of his three crossing attempts in an unproductive evening.
He did win his only aerial duel and won a ground contest during the first half. He will next be in action when the Robins face Shrewsbury Town on Saturday afternoon.
The Irish midfielder played 90 minutes of St Mirren’s thrilling 3-4 defeat to Kilmarnock.
He had two key passes in the match and completed 86% of his passes.
Devaney had one shot that was blocked, but won 100% of his tackles in the middle of the park. He also won three ground duels against Killie.
St Mirren will travel to the capital to face Hibernian on Saturday afternoon.
