Chelsea will face off against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium this Tuesday night as they look to secure a good result on the road in their EFL Cup semi-final second leg clash. The Blues managed to earn a 3-2 win over West Ham United recently, so they will be eager to keep their good form going in midweek.

Liam Rosenior will set his men up in a 4-2-3-1 formation and is expected to make some tweaks to his first-team for this game. Reece James, Wesley Fofana and Marc Cucurella could all play from the start of this clash.

Defence

Robert Sanchez will function in goal for the Blues after he conceded two goals in his last outing. Trevoh Chalobah will operate alongside Wesley Fofana at the heart of the Chelsea backline as they focus on keeping things solid at the back during the game.

Reece James will try to catch the eye as the right-back, while Marc Cucurella hopes to prove his worth on the other side as the left-back. Both of them will have to perform their defensive duties before trying to offer some support to the front players.

Malo Gusto and Benoit Badiashile will offer cover for the defensive positions on the bench.

Midfield

Moises Caicedo and Enzo Fernandez will anchor the midfield for the West London club as they focus on winning the 50-50 duels at the centre of the park.

The talented trio of Joao Pedro, Cole Palmer and Pedro Neto will play just ahead of them as part of the Chelsea attack. All three of them need to combine well if the Blues are to threaten the Arsenal goal this Tuesday night.

Alejandro Garnacho and Andrey Santos will be named on the bench as they wait for their opportunity to make an impact in the second 45 minutes if needed.

Attack

Liam Delap will lead the line for the London club up top. He has to find a way to be a real threat up top.

Marc Guiu will have to settle for a place on the bench and might come on to influence the game in the latter stages if the Blues are in need of a goal by then.
