Chelsea once again dropped points as they were held to a 1-1 draw by the Clarets, as their Champions League hopes took a dent.

Joao Pedro opened the scoring in the fourth minute, but Chelsea were unable to push on, and Zian Flemming headed home a stoppage time equaliser.

Chelsea should have been out of sight by half time, but once again they failed to push on after taking the lead, with the intensity both on and off the ball dropping.

Things were made more difficult when Wesley Fofana got sent off, but the Blues almost saw the game out, before being undone from a corner in stoppage, as Flemming was left unmarked to head home.

However, O’Hara targeted Sanchez after the game, and criticised the Spaniard for what he deemed a “stupid” decision after hitting the ball long up to Pedro late in the game.

“How old is (Robert) Sanchez? He’s not young, is he. He’s got plenty of experience,” he told talkSPORT.

“In the 85th minute, the ball comes to him. All you do, go down. Hold onto it.

“What does he do?” Cundy asked.

O’Hara replied: “He boots it straight to a Burnley player, and they’re back on it!

“He’s done it twice. I’m looking at him going ‘What is he doing?’

“That ain’t about being young, that’s about being stupid!”

Chelsea drop more points at home

It was the second consecutive game Chelsea have dropped points from a winning position, and takes their tally to 19 lost over the course of the season.

Chelsea’s home record is also cause for concern with just six wins from 14 league matches, and Stamford Bridge is anything but the fortress it once was.
