Jamie Vardy named Serie A Player of the Month | OneFootball

Former Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy has been named the Serie A Player of the Month for November.

The 38-year-old Cremonese striker has quickly adapted to life in Italy and has been rolling back the years in Serie A and is the player's first monthly award since being named Premier League Player of the Month for October 2019.

The November award covers matchday 10 to 13 in the Italian flight which began with Vardy netting in his side's 2-1 home defeat to Juventus and culminated in a 3-1 win away to Bologna in which the Englishman scored twice.

Vardy's performances have helped Cremonese reach ninth in Serie A, ahead of the likes of Lazio, Udinese, and Atalanta while being just one point behind Juve.

In total, Vardy has played 10 times in the league this season, netting four times in total. The veteran will likely be in action once again on Saturday as his side travels to take on 16th-placed Torino.
