Former Manchester United star Jesse Lingard was in outstanding form in his latest match for South Korean side FC Seoul.

United career

The Englishman made his first senior appearance in the 2014-2015 season but became a regular in the side in the 2015-2016 season.

He scored the winning goal in the FA Cup final against Crystal Palace at the end of the season and also played a key role in Jose Mourinho’s United.

Lingard would go on to play 232 times for the Red Devils, scoring 35 goals.

Life after United

He would eventually drop out of favour under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and had a successful loan at West Ham United in the 2020-2021 season.

Lingard officially left United in 2022, moving to Nottingham Forest on a free transfer before completing a move to FC Seoul in South Korea in 2024.

He has played a total of 65 games for the Dark Red Warriors and scored 18 times in two seasons.

Magical showing

Interestingly, Lingard only has one month left on his current deal but reminded the Korean fans of his talent.

In Seoul’s 3-1 away win over Shanghai Port in the Asian Champions League, Lingard was sublime.

The 32 year old scored the opener when he tucked away a flowing counter attack.

Lingard also grabbed two assists for his teammates in an all round creative performance.

All four of his efforts were on target and he won 100% of his tackles.

The England international also won three of his five duels in the match.

Lingard will next be in action against the league leaders Jeonbuk Hyundai in the K-League later on today.
