On Friday, Corinthians lost 3-2 to Palmeiras in round three of the Campeonato Brasileiro Feminino, but forward Jhonson ended a scoring drought of more than three months.

She opened the scoring after seven minutes, collecting Gabi Zanotti's pass, bursting through the middle and finishing past keeper Kate Tapia.

She had last scored on 22 November 2025, a 2-1 Paulista semi-final win over São Paulo, netting on 12 minutes from a Duda Sampaio pass and again late on with a sliding finish from Duda's cross-shot.

That display earned starts in the semi-final return and both Paulista finals with Palmeiras, ending 2025 as a starter but without goals or assists. As reported by Meu Timao, she began 2026 on the bench and stayed a reserve, featuring in the Copa das Campeãs against Gotham FC and Arsenal.

In the Supercopa final with Palmeiras she came on after 33 minutes of the second half and missed her kick in the shootout, as Corinthians finished runners-up. She then played after 17 minutes of the second half in the 1-0 Brasileiro opener against Atlético Mineiro, before going unused in the 2-2 draw with Fluminense.

The 20-year-old returned to the starting XI after five matches and took her chance against the club's biggest rivals. The Brabas next face América Mineiro on Monday 23 at 21:00, venue to be confirmed, potentially the Fazendinha if the Federação Paulista de Futebol, FPF, permits night games there.
