Jon Dahl Tomasson linked with the Norwich City job

Jon Dahl Tomasson is among the names linked with the vacant post at Carrow Road according to reports.

Norwich City sacked manager Liam Manning at the weekend after a dreadful start to the season which has seen the club win just two of their opening 15 games in the Championship. The Canaries are currently 23rd in the second tier sandwiched between the two Sheffield clubs and four points from safety.

According to journalist Sami Mokbel of BBC Sport, former Sweden boss Jon Dahl Tomasson is among the candidates linked to the Norwich City job.

Despite a poor stint in charge of Sweden, the former forward has experience managing in the Championship having previously won 40 of 90 games for Blackburn Rovers in all competitions.

Tomasson is not the only contender with Gary O’Neil also in the frame for the role.
