Jordan Gonzalez extends Versailles deal to 2028, backroom team to 2027

Jordan Gonzalez has extended his Versailles contract to 2028, and his backroom team have also renewed until 2027, the club said in a statement.

The 36-year-old took charge in November 2024 after leading OL’s under-19s. He kept the confidence of Alexandre Mulliez and Fabien Lazare through a testing first campaign that ended with a hard-fought survival in National.

The season just completed was far more positive, with Versailles finishing fifth and staying in the hunt for promotion to Ligue 2 until the final day.

The Yvelines club have signalled ambition ahead of the launch of Ligue 3 and are opting for continuity after encouraging progress.

Gonzalez’s playing principles became increasingly visible over the campaign, reinforcing the direction set by the club’s hierarchy.
