José Mourinho makes call on Endrick’s immediate Real Madrid future | OneFootball

Incoming Real Madrid head coach José Mourinho plans to depend on the returning Endrick for the 2026/27 campaign.

This comes amid the understanding that the Portuguese tactician is a keen admirer of the young frontman.

Youngster Endrick is of course fresh off an altogether productive loan spell away from Real Madrid. After struggling for game time in Spain’s capital over the opening half of the season, the 19-year-old linked up with Olympique Lyonnais on a short-term loan.

And Endrick took full advantage of the opportunity to remind his parent club of his unquestionable talents.

Across 21 appearances in all competitions, the Brazilian international racked up 16 direct goal contributions, through eight goals and eight assists.

The brass at Real Madrid, in turn, had long made the call to bring their young hitman back for next season.

And as alluded to above, this call now appears to have the full backing of incoming headmaster José Mourinho.

As per a report from market insider Fabrizio Romano:

‘José Mourinho counts on Endrick for his Real Madrid squad, same as the club do. The clear plan is to keep Endrick this summer, as reported two weeks ago.’
