Former Orlando Pirates head coach Jose Riveiro has addressed the swirling reports linking him to top Betway Premiership teams.
The Spanish mentor left a lasting legacy in the South African football landscape as he guided the Buccaneers to five domestic cup titles during his tenure.
Moreover, Pirates finished as runners-up in the league for three consecutive seasons under his tutelage and reached the CAF Champions League semi-final last season.
Currently unattached after a brief stint with Egyptian giants Al Ahly, reports have constantly linked the 50-year-old tactician with the Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns job, but he reiterated his stance.
“I think I have to move forward and I had the opportunity to be the Pirates coach for three seasons, an incredible time of my life and that's it,” said Riveiro when quizzed on a potential return to South Africa.
"I said already a long time ago that I'm a Buccaneer, that's it - that's my time in South Africa, it's done because like I said, I'll never work in another club, only Pirates.
"Now it's time for Pirates to continue the evolution the way they are doing, like we said even long time ago that it's going to happen and for me to continue somewhere else as well.
Riveiro, who reportedly turned down ES Setif last month, is currently back in South Africa as an ambassador for the Carling Black Label Cup, scheduled for 13 December at Moses Mabhida Stadium.
