Liverpool are chasing one of the best teenagers in European football right now. He has a simply amazing record.

Liverpool raided the Bundesliga in the summer, picking up three of the biggest talents in Germany. In fact, they signed arguably the biggest in Florian Wirtz.

Wirtz is the golden boy of Germany football and just about everyone expected him to move to Bayern Munich. If not Bayern, Manchester City were willing to spend an awful lot of money to get him.

And yet, he ended up at Liverpool. Wirtz signed for the Reds and soon his teammate Jeremie Frimpong followed from Bayer Leverksuen.

The Reds didn't even stop their Bundesliga raid there - Hugo Ekitike followed a few months later despite interest from all over Europe. Signing stars from Germany's top flight was clearly a bit of a plan for Liverpool.

And now they might be back at it.

Bayern Insider Christian Falk claims Liverpool have Said El Mala 'on their list'. Now, they're in a group of clubs where that's the case - El Mala is one of the brightest prospects going, after all.

The link is in a bigger piece about Yan Diomande, who's the teenager just about everyone wants. Diomande only joined RB Leipzig from Leganes in the summer but quickly lit up the Bundesliga.

He's now in high demand and almost certainly commands a giant fee later this year. El Mala, however, might be the consolation prize for teams.
