Harry Amass is currently on loan with Sheffield Wednesday from Manchester United
Sheffield Wednesday are yet to come to an agreement with Manchester United over the renewed loan of Harry Amass.
The full-back made the switch to Hillsborough on a temporary basis late in the summer window, with financial issues preventing the Owls from being active in the market.
The Yorkshire outfit were able to bring in Ethan Horvat on loan from Cardiff City, and they completed no other business before the window closed.
It was reported that the Premier League side are paying the entire cost of the loan, with the youngster aiming to earn regular playing time away from Old Trafford in order to gain senior experience.
Amass has earned the praise of many supporters, with the defender featuring in 13 of their 17 games in the Championship so far this season, even contributing one goal.

It was initially reported earlier this year that Amass is expected to remain at Hillsborough beyond the January market.
However, Alex Miller has claimed that no agreement has yet been reached between the two clubs over extending his current loan, which expires in the new year.
He’s suggested that the ongoing takeover discussions at Sheffield Wednesday are complicating talks, but that the likeliest scenario is still that he will remain with the Championship side.
“There sort of were reports that [it] had been already agreed [but] that that’s not my understanding,” said Miller, via the United! United! United! YouTube channel.
“I think, you know, that there is an acceptance at both ends of the deal and from the player himself that things are going really well. You know, in terms of his development.
“But there is a little way to go in terms of renewing that loan and the term, we spoke on the show previously about the terms [for] Harry and what United are contributing to that loan.
“But there is a period of uncertainty now in that Sheffield Wednesday don’t know who their owners are going to be.
“And they don’t know what’s going to be available and what direction those owners may want things to take.
“So, I think until that is clearer, not necessarily ‘til it’s done and dusted, but until that’s a little clearer, it’s difficult to sort that loan out.”
Sheffield Wednesday have endured a difficult 2025, with the club currently in administration due to significant financial issues.
The Owls were automatically docked 12 points as a consequence, leaving them rooted to the bottom of the Championship table.
Henrik Pedersen’s side have minus four points, with 20 points separating them from safety after just 17 games.
Next up for Sheffield Wednesday is a home clash against Preston North End on 29 November in a 3pm kick-off.

While Sheffield Wednesday are all but certain to be relegated this season regardless of what their squad looks like, it will still be a boost to keep Amass beyond January.
At the end of the day, he improves the team and is an exciting young prospect to watch week-in and week-out.
The defender is also gaining valuable experience at senior level by playing consistently in the Championship, which is what Man United will want.
