Real Madrid midfielder Jude Bellingham has confirmed he sees himself playing for the Spanish giants for "the next ten or 15 years".
Bellingham was wanted by most of Europe's elite in the summer of 2023, ultimately opting to leave Borussia Dortmund and join Real Madrid in a deal worth an initial €103m. He has made good on that price tag, recently shining with a key goal to help his side beat Real Sociedad and advance to the Copa del Rey final.
There have been speculative suggestions that Manchester City are exploring an ambitious move for Bellingham, and while the rumours always seemed far-fetched anyway, the England international has now firmly shut down the idea he could leave Madrid.
"I'm happy in Madrid and I think I'll be playing in white for the next ten or 15 years," Bellingham told the media.
Bellingham, still only 21, has effectively assured fans he plans to spend the remainder of his career with Madrid. He will turn 32 years old in the summer of 2035, and remaining for a further five years would take him beyond his 37th birthday.
MARCA state that Bellingham has stunned Madrid staff with sheer volume of work he puts in, both on the pitch and behind the scenes, to embrace his role as a key player for Los Blancos.
Seen as a "pillar" of Carlo Ancelotti's team, Bellingham remains under contract with Madrid until 2029 and appears set to be joined in Spain by close friend Trent Alexander-Arnold, who is reported to have agreed to leave Liverpool and move to the Bernabeu on a free transfer.
