Over the past few days, speculation has been rife about who could become the next Real Madrid manager.
Multiple outlets suggested that former Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp was one of the top contenders along with SL Benfica boss Jose Mourinho.
Klopp currently works as the Global Head of Football for the Red Bull Group and it was suggested that he would be willing to leave that role to manage Real Madrid.
However, in a surprising bit of update, Jose Felix Diaz of AS reports that Klopp is not a candidate for the Real Madrid managerial hotseat.
The former Liverpool head coach is focused on a future role with the Germany national football team, while the leadership at the Spanish club are considering other options for the first-team bench.
There is no further development beyond this, and no room for speculation, the report firmly states.

While Klopp is respected by Real Madrid, he has not featured among the candidates in a process that remains open and is not being rushed.
Klopp is currently waiting for an opportunity with the German national team. He is in no hurry and maintains full respect for the work of Julian Nagelsmann, the current national team coach. This remains his primary objective.
Until that opportunity arises, he will continue in his current role with the Red Bull group.
Klopp stepped away from coaching in the summer of 2024, and although several clubs have approached him, he has consistently maintained that he needed time away from the pressures of daily management.
And, as things stand, he does not seem likely to change that stance and wait for an opportunity to open up with the German national team.
