FC Barcelona are still working on finding the right kind of solutions to their ongoing issues and complications. Unfortunately for the Catalan giants, the complex nature of their problems makes them difficult to resolve soon. However, Barcelona remain committed to doing so no matter what.
For instance, the registration issue concerning both Dani Olmo and Pau Victor took a long time to resolve. While the club now has a temporary solution, and one that other Barcelona players feel happy about, they will still look to solve all of their recent woes in the long-term as well.
Currently, however, there have been a lot of reports linking a certain €55 million-rated Barcelona defender to Serie A giants Juventus. That particular defender would be none other than Ronald Araujo, and the Uruguayan star remains a priority for Juventus.
According to the latest update from Fabrizio Romano, however, it seems clear enough that both Barcelona and Juventus are indeed in talks to sort out the future of the Uruguayan defender and club captain. On the other hand, there is no guarantee if Barça are even willing to part ways with the player just yet.
The Italian journalist also clarified that Araujo is the main target for Juventus, and he is the centre-back they want to bolster the team. As of right now, there is no guarantee regarding his future, but contract negotiations have been rather complicated when it comes to Araujo.
Originally, Juventus were also interested in SL Benfica’s Antonio Silva but it seems that a potential move for him has already been blocked. The Barcelona defender, on the other hand, has always been a priority and remains just the same so far.
As for Hansi Flick’s team, it is also clear enough to see that the Uruguayan defender has been struggling to get consistent minutes. However, that is due to a rather unlucky combination of his injury this season as well as the emergence of a reliable partnership between Inigo Martinez and Pau Cubarsi.
