Luciano Spalletti will remain in charge of Juventus after the club confirmed a contract extension that will keep him at the helm for a further two seasons.

The Italian was appointed in October following the departure of Igor Tudor, with the brief of stabilising results and guiding the club back into UEFA Champions League qualification contention.

Speaking in a club video, Spalletti confirmed the agreement had already been finalised before its official announcement, addressing both players and supporters.

Since taking charge, the former Napoli head coach has overseen 31 matches, recording 17 wins, eight draws and six defeats.

His impact has helped Juventus regain momentum, with the side now just one point behind fourth-placed Como 1907 in the Serie A standings. However, the effective gap is two points due to Como having won both head-to-head meetings this season.

Juventus currently sit fifth in Serie A, with Champions League qualification firmly in their sights as the campaign enters its decisive phase.
