Juventus just bought Jeff Ekhator from Genoa, but it’s already possible he could be loaned out if Mateo Pellegrino arrives from Parma, while Augusto Owusu is promoted from the youth team.
The Bianconeri began their pre-season with a 0-0 friendly draw against FC Basel yesterday, but Luciano Spalletti’s side is looking far from complete.
The search for a striker goes on, with reports that Pellegrino is the latest target from Parma, seeing as talks with Paris Saint-Germain for Randal Kolo Muani have stalled yet again.

In truth, Juve already did get a forward in the form of Ekhator from Genoa, but La Gazzetta dello Sport suggest that he could be loaned out already.
There is the potential to even agree an exchange of loans between Ekhator and Pellegrino, thereby keeping the costs down.

Meanwhile, the same source also points to another cheap investment, as 21-year-old Owusu impressed Spalletti during pre-season training.
He is set to be promoted from the Next Gen team to the senior squad this season, where he will replace the outgoing Fabio Miretti.
Born in Turin, Owusu moved up the various ranks in the Bianconeri youth academy and reached the Next Gen side in 2024.
