Juventus line up potential replacements for Thiago Motta | OneFootball

Serie A giants Juventus are keeping tabs on potential replacements for Thiago Motta, even if no immediate decision will be made about the manager.

Fabiana della Valle has reported about the managerial situation at Juventus, stating that if the Bianconeri do not qualify for the top four this season, an axing could be on the cards for Motta. That is why four potential options are reported about.

One man in the fray is Gian Piero Gasperini, whose current deal at Atalanta runs out in the summer of 2026 and he will not sign a renewal. If Juve decide to hire a new manager, he could become a possibility and the two parties have come close in the past, even if no agreements were found.

There is also the lingering suggestion of Antonio Conte, who is liked by many at the club. If he leaves Napoli in the summer, the idea of a return to Juve would still be possible.

Other options include Igor Tudor, who left Lazio last summer after a conflict with the upper management. He has previously worked at Juve under Andrea Pirlo and he has many admirers. If not Tudor, Giorgio Chiellini could also become a short-term option for Juventus.
