Juventus continue to haggle with Aston Villa and PSG for Emiliano Martinez and Randal Kolo Muani, but amid some difficulties in those negotiations, they have tested the waters for Zion Suzuki and Mateo Pellegrino, Sportitalia reports.

The goalkeeper, who manned the post for Japan in the World Cup, is likely to leave this summer. Parma are eyeing a significant ‘plusvalenza.’ The competition delayed his exit, and he’s being tracked by Leeds United and Aston Villa, should they ultimately part ways with the Argentinian icon. The Ducali have already signed his replacement, Giovanni Daffara, from the Old Lady.

Juventus would have to empty their coffers to sign either Suzuki or Pellegrino. The former has a €30M valuation, which is fueled by the ongoing bidding war. The striker doesn’t figure to be much cheaper. He joined Parma for just €1.6M from Velez Sarsfield in February 2025. He has recorded 12 goals in 50 Serie A appearances, adding two assists.

According to Corriere dello Sport, the Bianconeri haven’t been able to unlock the arrival of Kolo Muani yet. They tendered just over €30M, while PSG want €40M. The counterpart is flexible on the formula, though.

While it’s par for the course to have fallbacks, adding either would be a big pivot, as they are after much more heralded players. The former is a bit more gifted and experienced than Michele Di Gregorio when he first joined, but he’s not a veteran nor a slam-dunk signing, despite his price tag. The striker has a high upside and can be impactful right away, but he’d be more of a super sub or rotational piece than a go-to guy in a top team.
