Juventus make contact for Brentford target Tiago Gabriel | OneFootball

Serie A side Juventus have made initial contact for Brentford target and Lecce man Tiago Gabriel.

According to a report by Tuttosport.it via TMW, Juventus are eyeing a potential move for Lecce’s Tiago Gabriel following primary contacts in recent days. The Bianconeri are set for intense competition in the transfer market for the Portuguese defender, especially from Premier League outfits Brentford. 

The Bees are ready to splash out €20 million in their opening bid to Lecce for the 20-year-old. Juventus might not have the financial capacity to compete with Premier League contenders, but they will look to make the exchange by offering a player, possibly on a loan deal. 

The Old Lady management know that the Salentini were interested in the youngster Vasilije Adzic last summer, and they could use him as part of the deal to sign Gabriel.

Everything depends on the player’s wishes and Lecce might be tempted to accept Juventus’ offer since they can receive a high-value youth player in return without approaching the market.
