Liverpool are gearing up for some big changes in their squad this summer.
Ibrahima Konate could be leaving as his contract ticks towards expiry. He may well be joined on the exit ramp by Joe Gomez - who is attracting interest from AC Milan and Besiktas.
Alexis Mac Allister and Curtis Jones are among the senior midfield options who could be leaving amid contract uncertainty. Up top meanwhile it is expected that Federico Chiesa may also be moving on.
Alisson Becker - the club’s long-serving goalkeeper - is wanted by Juventus and is said to be intrigued by the prospect of a move back to Serie A.
And according to a report from Paul Joyce in the Times the Brazilian No1 could be joined by another Liverpool hero who is due to leave the club this summer.
It was revealed a few weeks back that sporting director Richard Hughes would not be offering a new contract to Andy Robertson.
The £160k per week left-back has been without a regular starting berth since the acquisition of Milos Kerkez from Bournemouth last summer.
The club entertained offers from Tottenham in the January transfer window for the 32-year-old - but the move fell down owing to a lack of cover.
Robbo is still convinced he’s got what it takes to perform at the top level - with Juve now moving in for a lucrative Bosman deal.
Robertson, the Scotland captain, has been with Liverpool since 2017 when he moved from Hull City for around £8m.
Since then he has established himself as one of the best left-backs in club history - winning the Champions League and two Premier League titles among plenty of other honours.
The signing of Kerkez was the beginning of the end for Robbo - who has also been linked with the likes of Atletico Madrid and Celtic.
Liverpool move closer to a deal for reported long-term target Andrea Cambiaso.
