Marco Palestra has emerged as a leading summer target for Inter Milan, with the Nerazzurri ready to move if there is a change on the right flank.
The Italian talent, currently valued at around €40m by Atalanta, is viewed internally as the ideal profile to refresh the wing-back department.
His name sits at the top of Inter’s shortlist should Denzel Dumfries depart in search of a new challenge, as per L’Interista.
Interest from the Premier League continues to grow, with clubs such as Liverpool and Manchester City both credited with admiration for the Dutchman.
Palestra ticks several boxes for Inter’s hierarchy.

His versatility adds to the appeal. Paired with the more attacking instincts of Luis Henrique, Palestra could offer a balanced solution on the flank.
This season, he has already shown his attacking contribution with a goal and four assists during his spell with Cagliari.
Indeed, performances that have drawn attention from across Europe.
Juventus and Napoli are also monitoring the situation.
However, Inter do not want to miss out on a player they see as tailor-made for their next phase.

Yet the Nerazzurri are prepared to open talks if the right conditions emerge.
For now, Palestra stands as more than just a name on a list.
He also represents a clear strategic objective for Inter’s upcoming rebuild.
