It is a crucial date for the Juventus management, given that the club had not participated in ECA meetings since 2021, when ex-club Chairman Andrea Agnelli resigned as ECA President, being one of the architects of the so-called ‘Super League.’

Juventus CEO Scanavino spoke to Sky Sport Italia on Wednesday afternoon after morning meetings with representatives of other clubs in the Greek capital.

“It can be an interesting opportunity to experience the rapport with the other clubs and speak about the present and future of football,” he said.

“We already met some colleagues this morning and discussed football, sustainability, structures and the social commitment that clubs must have. It’s an opportunity to be inside an organisation that wants to develop football.

“ECA is also negotiating with FIFA over club revenues for the Club World Cup, which is of great interest to all the teams.”

Juventus and Inter will represent Serie A at the 2025 Club World Cup, a new tournament launched by FIFA involving some of the best teams in the world.

It will be played in the USA from June 15 to July 13, 2025.
