Tottenham Hotspur flop Radu Dragusin remains on the radar of Italian giants Juventus this summer, according to Mirko Di Natale.
The Spurs defender spent a chunk of the season sidelined, and when he did return, he struggled to break into the first team.
Tottenham are ready to sell for a fee between €15-20 million, and the 36-time Serie A champions, who have had eyes on him since the winter window, are interested.
Dragusin has failed to establish himself in North London despite arriving with so much promise following a dominant spell in Italy.
His poor decision-making and reading of the game made it difficult for his aggressive duelling to shine.
Lauded by former Spurs boss as a strong defender, his injuries and the constantly revolving managerial door in the Tottenham dugout didn’t help the situation.
Now, he will be desperate for a reset elsewhere. Game time will be the priority for the 24-year-old. Perhaps a new environment will help him get back to his best.
Tottenham also do not need to panic and splash more money on another centre-back if Dragusin departs.
Kevin Danso is already at the club and looks tailor-made for the physical demands of English football. He has been an excellent pick-up.
The Austrian is aggressive, dominant in duels and brings the warrior mentality Spurs expected when they signed Dragusin.
There is also huge excitement around Luka Vuskovic, who returns from loan after an impressive loan spell.
The Croatian teenager is widely regarded as one of Europe’s brightest defensive prospects, offering composure on the ball alongside strong defensive instincts.
Between Danso’s experience and Vuskovic’s enormous potential, Spurs already possess enough internal solutions to soften the blow of losing Dragusin.
In truth, the Romanian never truly convinced in England despite the hype surrounding his arrival, and a move away may suit all parties involved.
